Professor M Kabir Hassan has been appointed as the new Chief Editor of the Journal of Business Administration (JBA).

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) is honored to announce the appointment of Professor M. Kabir Hassan as the new Chief Editor of the Journal of Business Administration (JBA).

Professor Hassan is a Distinguished Professor of Finance at the University of New Orleans, USA and a globally renowned scholar in Finance, Islamic Economics, and Banking. Ranked among the top 1% global scholars (Stanford University–Elsevier), he has authored over 680 peer-reviewed publications, received more than 47,000 citations, and has served on the editorial boards of over 25 leading international journals.

He has also advised major global institutions including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), as well as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and is a recipient of several prestigious academic and professional awards.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for the Journal of Business Administration (JBA) and reinforces the Journal’s commitment to academic excellence, global standards, and impactful research.
